More than thirty five years after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and Europe, it is time for the EU to rethink its strategy to better face the economic challenges and opportunities offered by the unprecedented shift in relative economic power that China’s rise represents. This study provides an independent and concise overview of the major risks and opportunities in EU- China trade and investment relations.
